In 2009 while I was a sophomore attending Louisiana Tech, I started No Bugs LA with no money, no customers, and no connections. Since graduating, I’ve been able to dedicate more time and resources to furthering No Bugs LA’s reach and services. Today we have customers across all of north Louisiana and have partnerships with numerous other companies throughout the state.
Since I’ve been able to devote all of my working time to misting systems and mosquito control; I’ve learned how to effectively design & install a misting system so that it is virtually invisible and how to create Bug Free Backyards!
I’m often asked why I decided to start No Bugs LA in college rather than waiting until I graduated to choose a career. There is one main reason: to be able to buy an engagement ring. I didn’t want to get a loan from the bank or borrow money from my parents. I wanted the ring to belong to my fiancé – debt free so that no one else had any claim on it!
Since that time, I’ve enjoyed getting to know my customers and getting great feedback. It feels good when customers tell me or one of my employees that for the first time, they can enjoy spending time in their backyard with their family and friends.
As a business student, I was told by numerous professors that a business cannot have the best customer service, the highest quality product, and the cheapest price. I disagree (to a certain extent). I believe that I’ve been able to develop a business that can offer the highest quality products at the best price around. And in regards to customer service, I definitely think we excel in promptly responding to any problems and requests.
My mission with No Bugs LA is to provide a superior product and service at the best price around while maintaining excellent customer service.
Thank you for taking the time to check out the No Bugs LA website and considering us for your mosquito control company. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call at any time!
Oh by the way…I did earn the money to buy that engagement ring back in 2009.
And in case you’re wondering,
she said yes!
